What can I expect during treatment?
Your treatment will take place here at Beautique. You will wear eye protection while our licensed practitioners guide the laser in the treatment areas with a small handheld probe. Depending on the area and the condition being treated, one treatment may only last a few minutes.
Does it hurt?
Some patients may feel a slight discomfort with the laser pulse. This can be minimized with Invikta’s chill tip. Be sure to discuss this with our licensed practitioner.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions will depend on the treatment you require and the condition of your skin. For hair removal, most people require at least 6 to 10 treatments, as the process is only effective when the hair is in its active growth phase.
Are there side effects?
Risks are minimal. Side effects may include purpura (a laser bruise), redness, blistering, hyperpigmentation (rare), hyperpigmentation (rare), and swelling. These usually do not last more than a few days.
Are the treatments covered by insurance?
